Dreaming of an epic adventure—whether on foot, by bike, or on the water? This workshop is for you!

Planning a big trip can feel overwhelming, but talking it through with someone who’s been there, done that can give you the clarity and confidence to go for it. If your dream adventure feels too big or your friends and family don’t quite get it, this is your space to bring it to life!

Need Some Inspiration? Here’s my personal experience:

✅ Hiked across Malta (won an adventure grant to help with costs)

✅ Cycled 767 miles from Wales to the French Alps (gained sponsorship to help with travel costs and equipment)

  • Setting realistic yet challenging goals
  • Understanding your ‘why’

2. Planning & Logistics

  • Route planning: maps, trails, and navigation tools
  • Accommodation options: wild camping vs. hostels vs. homestays
  • Budgeting: estimating costs and funding options
  • Permits, visas, and safety regulations (if applicable)

3. Training & Physical Preparation

  • How to build strength, endurance, and resilience
  • Injury prevention and recovery strategies

4. Gear & Equipment

  • Essential gear list for different types of adventures
  • Exploring sponsorship options

5. Safety & Risk Management

  • Managing fear and staying safe
  • First aid, emergency protocols, and communication tools (e.g., GPS, emergency beacons)

6. Mindset & Mental Resilience

  • Overcoming self-doubt and fear of failure to get started
  • Coping with unexpected challenges – what-if planning

7. Community & Support Systems

  • Seeking mentorship and role models
  • Documenting and sharing the journey (blogs, social media, storytelling)
